Mind your words!

What's the difference between the sentences

"I want profit"

"I don't want loss"

"I am not winning"

"I am only losing"

the first one is a positive statement

the second one is a negative one.

the third one is a positive statement

the fourth one is a negative one.

I had read somewhere that our subconscious mind doesn't recognise adverbs like don't/won't/isn't/not....etc.

When you say "don't want loss", your subconscious mind doesn't take the "don't" seriously.

It is focussed on "loss"!

Thats the way it has always been trained!

That's the message it gets.

When you repeatedly use negative statements in the garb of positive ones, u r subconsciously programming it with negativity!

You wonder why you are losing while you "don't want to lose"!

While I was learning to drive in the dangerous narrow roads of Kinnaur (inner Himalayas), I was once scolded by my driving mentor

"Why do you keep looking towards the gorge? If you can't focus on the road, then atleast look towards the mountain-wall! you will get confidence!!"

In the bestseller "The Secret" I came across those magical words

"Thoughts become Things"!!!

In his best seller "Rich Dad, Poor Dad", Robert Kiosaki had written that one of the key difference between the rich and the poor is their vocabulary - their choice of words!

The rich tend to focus on "how" and "what"

The poor tend to focus on "Why not" and "what not"

The rich focus on "possibilities"

The poor focus on "difficulties"

We think that these are only words!

These are not words, these are SWORDS!!!

There can be no thoughts without words!

So, words are thoughts!

If we can choose the words we utter or don't utter, we can choose our thoughts!

The words we choose are like the food we select for mind!

Mind is a brilliant pet which learns what you teach it day in and day out!

We get what we deserve!

We deserve what we are capable of!!

We are capable of what we think!!!

So, while trading

are you thinking about profit

or are you thinking about avoiding the loss?

Small difference of words,

Big difference in results!
