"bewafa" nifty..

A trader with limited funds shorted nifty.

He was sure that nifty will come down.

It started going up!

He held on, because he was sure of the fall!!

He waited calmly.

But the nifty inched up making him uncomfortable.

He immediately revised his homework and found that he was right.

There was every reason for the nifty to fall and none for it to rise!

It was already severely overbought.

So, he waited.

But the Nifty was adament. It continued to rise.

The trader got really tense now.

His buffer was almost exhausted.

Any more rise and he would be forced to wind up his losing position!

Nifty paused and entered into a very narrow range at that height!

It started to tease the poor trader by neither falling nor decisively killing him by rising more.

5 minutes passed.

then 10,

then 15...

the wait became unbearable...

He couldn't take the tension anymore!

He was still sure that the nifty will fall

but

the fear of losing got the better of him!

he decided to square-off!

as he was squaring off he was reminded of his favourite ghazal

"(nifty tujhe) muhabbat karne wale kam na honge,

teri mehfil mein lekin hum na honge..."

1 minute after the square-off after the tense drama,

the "bewafa" nifty started to fall

....madly!!!
